About

Kolton Procter (b. 1992, Salt Spring Island BC) is a publisher and editor based on Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh territories. His work spans zines, magazines, artist books, and other commissioned titles, with a focus on championing emerging voices and experimenting with the printed form.

He is the editor of falowair, a monthly zine of personal writing, photographs, drawings, interviews and the like.

He also publishes the biennial Found You Magazine, presenting inspired, unconventional work by emerging and established writers and artists.

Kolton’s publishing practice is driven by curiosity and care. His work reflects an ongoing exploration of how print can connect people, share ideas, and make space for experimentation.

Recent projects include an artist photo book created in collaboration with painter Jack Kenna, and participation in Copy Machine Manifestos: Artists Who Make Zines at the Vancouver Art Gallery (2024).
